Thirsty Thursdays: Raspberry Iced Tea

It’s been raining in Baltimore, 5 blocks down from me the street made a giant sinkhole…

I’m sure it made national news I’m kinda tired of hearing it already…

so with being said. Let’s make raspberry iced tea

taste much better than the fake flavored bottled stuff.

you first start making tea like any other kind… and making simple syrup with raspberries.

it’s very easy you can do it with your eyes closed but I wouldn’t suggest it.

you most likely would end up burning your hand or something.

Raspberry Iced Tea

4 quarts water

10 tea bags

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 1/2 cups sugar

10- 12 ounce bag frozen raspberries

1 1/2 cups water

Boil 4 quarts of water take off heat, steep the tea bags in the hot water. let cool and set off to the side. Place sugar and 1 1/2 cups water in a medium pot let sugar  then add raspberries, let simmer.take off heat and let cool. Add lemon juice to the tea and pour into a pitcher than strain raspberry simple syrup into the tea stir and then chill in the fridge.

for a boozy raspberry tea add raspberry liquor or raspberry vodka.
