So I did not make these. But that’s okay. I did how matter eat it. Devine. That’s all I have to say. My friends mom made them last night.
I reminded me when I was younger. My mom would make like simple things all the time.
Kinda makes you want to stop time for a little bit.
I did cut and sugar the strawberries. I’m such a hard worker I know.
Strawberry Shortcakes
From Betty Crocker
4 cups of strawberries sliced
1/4 cup sugar
2 1/3 cups original bisquick mix
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons butter melted
1 pint heavy cream
3 to 4 tablespoons sugar
Heat oven to 425°F. In large bowl, mix strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar; set aside. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk, 3 tablespoons sugar and the butter until soft dough forms. On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by 6 spoonfuls.Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, in small bowl, beat heavy cream with sugar with electric mixer on high-speed until soft peaks form. Split warm shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries and whipped cream.
